History

In 1890, this place popped up as a rail depot for the Chicago Great Western railroad, which ran until the 1960's. It became a storage shed for seed corn for a while, until some very wise folks thought it'd make a great restaurant, and began a restoration and transformation in 1980. Forty years later, a couple of (big) kids bought the joint where they had their first date and are now just playing restaurant. Or maybe they're just playing with trains. Whatever, the food's great!

Specialties

Our prime rib on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights has been a Shelby County favorite for decades. We take pride in our hand-cut meats and made-from-scratch appetizers, pies, and more.
