This is the quintessential Dinner, Drive-In or Dive. It's in a pol building (a metal building) built just for the restaurant. Since moving to town, I've eaten here a minimum of 50 times, and have always had a meal that is substantial, and rated a range of 8-10 out of 10; without exception. The proprietor, Uncle Ronnie himself, works the floor as a host like an old school eatery in downtown New York. This is a top 3 joint in SE Iowa.
