Guardian Fiberglass provides primarily fiberglass insulation. Ashley Aluminum manufactures aluminum products. Guardian Building Products Distribution is an extensive network of distribution centers and laminating plants located throughout North America. Guardian Industries and its subsidiaries and affiliates employ more than 19,000 people at manufacturing facilities located throughout North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Guardian Industries operates a float-glass plant in DeWitt, Iowa.

Astec Mobile Screens, a subsidiary of Astec Industries, manufactures processing equipment designed for the recycle, crushed stone and sand and gravel industries. It is headquartered in Sterling, Ill., and has more than 50 employees. Originally founded as Production Engineered Products in 1976, Astec Mobile Screens has become one of the leaders in material processing with the introduction of the Vari-Vibe and Duo-Vibe high frequency screens. Astec Industries acquired the company in January 1997. Since then, Astec Mobile Screens has broadened its product offering beyond high frequency screens to include several mobile screening plants, which offer the conventional harp-deck screen.
