Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) is a men's social fraternity established on January 10, 1899, at Illinois Wesleyan University, with a mission to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life. With over 250 active chapters and colonies across the United States and Canada, TKE emphasizes the values of Love, Charity, and Esteem, fostering a diverse brotherhood of more than 275,000 men of strong character.
The Lambda Eta Chapter at the University of Iowa was installed on January 7, 1968, and has since contributed to the development of its members through leadership and personal growth opportunities. TKE is also committed to philanthropic efforts, partnering with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to support groundbreaking advancements in pediatric care.
