History

My grandfather started in this business over 93 years ago, and after 27 years working for someone else, started his own business in 1950. I am 3rd generation, and have over 33 years in the business myself, learning the business from my father, who had learned it from his father. I have experience with complicated prescriptions and lens materials that other places just can not handle. Sadly, I often end up cleaning up the messes that people get into going to other places. But, that's just part of my job, making the people of Dubuqueland see clearly. I am commited to this business, and will be here tomorrow to help you with all your eyewear needs, I'm not just here to take your hard earned money from you today.

We specialize in anything to do with eyewear ( glasses ). Eye glasses, contact lenses, sunglasses (both prescription and non-prescription), glasses repair and accessories. We work with almost all insurances, either as in-network, or out-of-network. We have Dubuque's largest selection of both eyeglass and sunglass frames.
