Meet Bubbles, a very loving and playful girl that is a late sleeper. Usually the last dog at the shelter to wake up in the morning. She burrows under her covers and disappears when she is in her kennel taking a nap. Bubbles has cataracts in both of her eyes and is scheduled for corrective surgery. The cost for this is around $2600 for one eye or $3600 for both eyes, if done at the same time. As of now, we are only able to have one eye corrected. Anyone who would like to donate to Bubble's surgery please drop it off at the shelter, or mail it to us: People For Pets is a non-profit organization devoted to finding loving homes for abandoned pets. We have an agreement with the City of Spencer, Iowa, to find homes for all stray cats and dogs not claimed within three business days. Before this agreement was made, these loving pets were put to sleep! People For Pets requires that any animal that is not yet spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, must be spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption. If the pet is too young at this date, then the pet must be spayed or neutered by or before its 6 month birthday.
