Dr. Goettel has always had a strong desire to help others and to work building up acommunity. Becoming a physician provided her a way to pursue these ambitions.She strives to connect with patients, understanding not only their medicalcondition but also their personal goals. Dr. Goettel realizes an individual'swell-being is not solely dependent on one factor but rather encompasses allaspects of a person's life. That is why her aim is to partner with patients tocollaboratively improve their health. She enjoys practicing as a familymedicine provider because it provides her with the privilege to interact with abroad spectrum of patients, ranging in age and issues. She is very appreciativethat she can spend each day doing work that she loves.

Dr. Floden has been practicing Internal Medicine in Mason City since 1990. She feels very fortunate to work with many wonderful doctors and patients over the years. Currently, she is the program director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, working with up to 18 residents and enjoying being part of the education of the future generation of doctors. She greatly appreciates all of her patients who have been willing to have the residents participate in their medical care. Dr. Floden is also grateful for the residents, who through their questions and passion for medicine, continue to make every day a chance for her to grow as a physician.
