On July 1, 1884 the Bank of Radcliffe was the first Bank to be established in Radcliffe, Iowa. In 1914, the bank was incorporated and the name was changed to Security State Bank. We are proud to be celebrating 123 years of community service to the Hardin, Hamilton, and Story County areas. Security State Bank is one of the oldest banks in Iowa. In 2004 an office was opened in Story City, Iowa, thus expanding our market area.
