Prairie Rose State Park is a 422-acre park in the scenic hills of southwest Iowa. The park is named after the small town, Village of Prairie Rose, which was once located near the park’s location. Visitors enjoy recreation from hiking, fishing, to boating.

Hidden treasure! Quiet, green, tree-lined campsites. Lovely little lake with swimming beach. Well-maintained sites...some with full hook ups! Will definitely be coming back. Town of Harlan is cute...
