Jackson Recovery Centers offers an array of outpatient addiction treatment in several northwest Iowa counties. All of our outpatient offices provide state-of-the-art addiction treatment. Our highly-trained staff strives to bring love and hope to individuals and families who are impacted by addiction. We have developed a treatment model where staff and other patients mentor, help and teach each other lifelong skills centered on recovery. With a location in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Heartland Family Service is a nonprofit agency that offers counseling services. Founded in 1875, the agency provides a variety of services to protect children, help adults and strengthen families. It provides educational and support services for more than 40,000 people annually in over 10 counties in Iowa. Heartland Family Service conducts parenting classes and offers employment opportunities for people affected with abuse, domestic violence and addictions. It provides professional counseling, domestic abuse, crime prevention and intervention programs. The agency organizes various recreational activities, such as discussion groups, exercise sessions, excursions and parties for senior citizens. It operates a family and child care resource center that offers conducts training sessions on issues related to child development. The agency also provides community education corporate and child care provider services. It maintains more than 10 office locations throughout eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
