About Benjamin L. Mason, MD Benjamin L. Mason, M.D. is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. After earning his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, he completed an ophthalmology residency and a glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. Dr. Mason’s professional eye care affiliations include the American Board of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Edward H. Hu – Refractive Cataract Surgeon in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Edward H. Hu, MD., Ph.D. is a board- certified ophthalmologist and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Hu joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in 2021 and serves patients in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City areas. Dr. Hu specializes in advanced technology implant cataract surgery and provides comprehensive ophthalmology services.

Paul S. Boeke, M.D. is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist that has been seeing patients with Wolfe Eye Clinic as a retina specialist since 2017. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Following a transitional year internship at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Boeke completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia, Missouri and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.
