Established in 1995, Iowa Health System operates more than 10 hospitals that serve individuals in Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska. The system manages St. Luke's Hospital, which specializes in emergency medicine, surgery, and heart and birth care. It operates Iowa Health - Des Moines, which offers trauma treatment, physical rehabilitation and medical equipment solutions. Iowa Health System also manages The Finley Hospital, which provides home health care, laboratory, maternity, nutrition, occupational health, pharmacy, radiology and imaging services. The system operates Allen Hospital, which was founded in 1925 and offers pain management and chemotherapy services. Its unit, St. Luke's Health System, is a full-service, nonprofit hospital that provides babysitting classes.
