Ottumwa Regional Health Center provides health care facilities and services to patients in southern Iowa and northern Missouri. The hospital has two campus facilities in Ottumwa, Iowa. They include the main campus on Pennsylvania Avenue and Alta Vista site. The organization's services include behavioral health services, emergency medical services, home health care, physical rehabilitation services, radiology services, surgical and ambulatory services and women and family care. Ottumwa is affiliated with the Iowa Health System in Des Moines, Iowa, and the University of Iowa Health System in Iowa City, Iowa. The hospital began as the Ottumwa Hospital Association in 1892 and admitted its first patient in 1894. Ottumwa Regional Health Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and a member of the Iowa and American Hospital Association.
