Childserve partners with families and serves children with special health care needs. It is located in Ames, Iowa, and also provides pediatric services and treatment for children suffering from chronic diseases. It provides treatment for children suffering from developmental delays and disabilities and requires short- and long-term care. The center also serves children from other counties in Iowa. It offers three core residential services, including skilled nursing care, intermediate care for children with mental disorders and residential supported community living. Childserve also provides a variety of community services that include home care, various therapies, adaptive equipment, respite care, supported community living, case management and child care.
