Thanks for taking the time to take a look at our community. Riverview is a Christian community on a journey of faith. We take seriously the direction found in I John that the Christian life is a journey that has just begun. now we are the children of God and what we will be has not yet been made known. (I John 3:2) At Riverview we take seriously the call of Christ to come follow me and while we are guided by our vision statement, even that document is subject to the leading of God according to Scripture. Personally it has been my pleasure to serve this church since early 1997, and I remain amazed at what is taking place in this congregation. One thing you will not find here is complex structure and rules to negotiate. We take seriously the concept that each Christian has been called and equipped to serve Christ in the world and by the grace of God we will empower and encourage you to fulfill that mission either in this place or the community where you reside.
