Following this belief the Owners of Midwest Sleep Services established a state of the art Sleep Disorders Testing Center in Waterloo Iowa. This facility has the capability of providing diagnostic sleep testing that provides the patients physician with data to direct subsequent treatment related options for patients exhibiting sleep related disorders. This facility is under the Medical Directorship of a Board-Certified Sleep Physician. Midwest Sleep Services also offers Sleep Testing Services through it unique OUTREACH PROGRAM. The Outreach Programs was established to help Healthcare facilities in the state of Iowa develop their own Sleep Testing services. The Outreach Program is developed around Industry standards addressing testing procedures, patient-safety, and quality of care. Through Midwest Sleep Services Outreach Program facilities that once thought sleep testing services were not an option due to costs, can now offer a Quality Driven, cost-effective, and profitable program that enhances the facilities image and allows patients in their community to be tested for sleep related disorders. Midwest Sleep Services Outreach Program allows contracted facilities the ability to begin testing patients within 30 to 60 days. Each contracted facility is provided with a Policy and Procedure manual designed to meet Industry accreditation standards. Midwest Staff assigned to facilities have undergone thorough training provided by Midwest's Registered management staff. Midwest Sleep Services also provides contracted facilities with Quality Improvement data designed to address state or accreditation concerns. Midwest Sleep Services utilizes Registered Polysomnographic Technologists perform scoring of Sleep testing. Midwest Sleep Services utilizes advanced data transfer technology to ensure turn around time for interpretation of tests is accomplished below industry average. Midwest Sleep Services Outreach Program is designed to be a cost-effective and Quality driven program that allows Health-care facilities to offer a sleep testing service that benefits their community.
