Madison County Engineer

Madison County Engineer s Office is a part of Madison County Department. The engineer's office is responsible for the planning, design and supervision of all construction and maintenance work on the secondary road system in Madison County. The department manages approximately 910 miles of roads in the county, out of which total 104 miles are paved.It also maintains over 245 bridges on the county road system.Madison County Engineer s Office also operates a secondary road department that is responsible for the general maintenance of all the county roads, bridges and culverts. This includes installing of traffic signs, maintaining road surfaces, vegetation control in the road right of way and winter snow and ice control.
