Construction has begun at Locke at Tower Park, a new, state-of-the art facility that will include a Life Celebration Center and expanded services. You will also notice some updates to the branding and names of our family of funeral homes in 2021. Are any current locations relocating? Yes. We will be relocating Kearns Funeral Service on Kimball Avenue in Waterloo and integrating those services into Locke at Tower Park. We will continue to operate Locke Funeral Services at our other three locations, including Locke Funeral Home on 4th Street in Waterloo, Garden View Chapel on Logan Avenue in Waterloo, and La Porte City Funeral Home.Will any of your staff members be leaving?Everyone in the Locke family and our entire staff plan to continue to work for Locke Funeral Services and look forward to the new facility and enhanced options coming soon. Will you still be offering grief support services?Yes. We do not believe the role of a funeral home ends after the service. Ongoing grief counseling and support are essential services we provide to our community. The new Locke at Tower Park facility will house our Continuous Care Grief Support program.Why are you updating the Locke Funeral Services brand?We retained the existing names of funeral homes as we added them to the Locke family.
