I was born and raised in India. I practiced OB/GYN in India before arriving in USA. I am trained in Pediatrics and Family medicine in USA. I am a certified Functional Medicine provider. I practice and teach Integrative and Functional Medicine to the medical students and residents. I believe in body's innate ability to heal. I try to investigate and treat the underlying causes of illness using functional medicine approach so that I can halt and possibly reverse the underlying disease process. I use genomics and lifestyle medicine to achieve wellness and abundant health. My special interest is to treat patients with chronic un-resolving illnesses, environmental and toxins related illnesses, chronic digestive issues, fatigue, and autoimmune disorders. I use a collaborative approach working closely with my other practitioner colleagues in the community including nutritionists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, wellness and life coaches, physical therapists and Naturopathic Physicians.
