Jarco

Founded approximately 30 years ago as a residential drywall company, JARCO s first commercial project was the fire station in Cherokee, Iowa. In 1982, the company started its acoustical ceiling division with its first project being the Medical Center in Ivanhoe, Minn. During 1994, two corporate milestones were reached, one of them being the company s first $1 million year. The second, the company purchased a 3,600-square-foot warehouse and a 600-square-foot office. Its retail sales division was added in 1995. In 1996, growth continued with the addition of a sprayed fireproofing and poured gypsum floor divisions. Located in Sioux City, Iowa, JARCO reached sales of $7 million in 2004.
