The Iowa City ReStore is a 10,000 square foot facility offering a diverse selection of new and gently used building materials and home goods at affordable prices, accessible to everyone regardless of income. Proceeds from the ReStore support Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity's mission to build, rehabilitate, and repair safe and affordable homes within the community.
In addition to shopping, the ReStore encourages donations of reusable household items and building materials, with a streamlined process for donors. Volunteers play a vital role in the organization, helping to provide excellent customer service and supporting sustainability initiatives that divert items from local landfills.
