Hawkeye Auto Body is an I-CAR Gold Class facility, which is a high recognition a business can earn in the collision repair industry. I-CAR is an independent nonprofit technical training organization formed to train the collision repair industry with the technical knowledge and skills needed to ensure a safe and complete repair as required by the manufacturer. This training is vital to stay current with the many changes the automotive manufacturers make. Hawkeye employs I-CAR certified MIG Welders. Hawkeye Auto Body has made a major investment in the Sherwin-Williams Automotive paint system and constantly upgrades the technology and equipment to ensure that each vehicle's finish matches. Our refinish technicians are certified by Sherwin-Williams and must train annually to stay current with the new products and techniques available. This is why, through Sherwin-Williams Automotive, Hawkeye can offer a lifetime paint guarantee for as long as you own your vehicle. Hawkeye Auto Body is also a member of the Sherwin-Williams A-Plus Network, which offers benefits for our technicians and customers. Hawkeye Auto Body's experienced technicians have been tested in order to gain ASE ( Automotive Service Excellence ) certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. ASE's mission is to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through the testing and certification of repair and service professionals. Hawkeye Auto Body management staff attends classes provided by the Automotive Management Institute. AMI is the leading provider of management education for the automotive service and collision repair industry. AMI was founded in 1989 to answer the demand for management education specifically for automotive service professionals. Hawkeye Auto Body technicians attend other equipment/service training classes including Mitchell International, Chief Automotive, Hunter Engineering and US Dentools, Inc Hawkeye Auto Body uses the latest technology available in the collision repair industry.
