Highlighted by a Victorian-era manor, the Historic Site offers guests a unique opportunity to step back into Dubuque's rich history. Open seasonally from Memorial Day - Labor Day, the site hosts events, school groups, and house tours. Guests can immerse themselves in history walking the grounds and exploring Iowa's oldest standing log cabin, historic schoolhouse, recreated mine and granary. The Mathias Ham House comes alive in October and December for special seasonal events and is a Dubuque staple as the host for the annual 4th of July Ice Cream Social.
