Fine Arts Collection

The Luther College Fine Arts Collection, supervised by Curator Destiny Crider, boasts over 1,600 works dating from ca. 500 BCE to the present, with a focus on 20th-century art. The collection features artists from the upper Midwest like Orville Running, as well as notable works by artists from outside the region, including California potter Marguerite Wildenhain and German Expressionist Gerhard Marcks.
