About All Body Basics All Body Basics L.L.C, serving central Iowa and the Des Moines Metro with our location in Johnston Iowa, was started by wife and husband team Jordanna Mead ( LE-Licensed Esthetician, LMT-Licensed Massage Therapist ) and Bryan Mead ( LMT-Licensed Massage Therapist ). Our objective is to provide the highest quality of facial, waxing, and massage services in a friendly, relaxing spa environment, comfortable to everyone. We strive to make all, customer or not, feel welcome when entering our salon/spa, and to have our clients feel good about their visit long after leaving. Jordanna Mead is truly a talented jack of all trades in the salon and spa business. As an esthetician, she is well known in the Des Moines Metro as the "extraction queen", offering deep cleansing facials that are relaxing yet thorough. Jordanna's waxing and hair removal skills are sought after as she sculpts the area waxed with style while working with the clients comfort in mind. She is a massage therapist known for a firm touch and a relaxing hand. Jordanna even does hair and cosmetology work, the first step in her career. We owe much of our success to the bubbly character and friendly attitude she gives each person who comes through our spa's door. Bryan Mead is a massage therapist known for his signature "comfortably deep" pressure ; deep enough to thorough relax tight muscles, but not so deep that you feel in discomfort or like you have been "tenderized". A big guy at 6 foot 4 inches tall, Bryan can provide the deep pressure to those who often cannot find it anywhere else ; yet his intent is to always work from the clients needs, so he adjusts each massage session's pressure and style accordingly. He is athletic and uses massage for his own training. Many athletes in training use Bryan's expertise to reset their muscles in order to reach their peak efficiency. Jordanna and Bryan were high school sweethearts and still enjoy a strong marriage and professional career together. We appreciate each other as a family and see all of our customers as extended family. We truly feel blessed in our success and have our customers to thank for it. It is our highest priority to work within our scope of practice and treat each and every customer as we would want to be treated ; in other words, follow the golden rule.
