About Eric Cochran Before he began his career with American Income Life Insurance Company, Eric Cochran was an Operations Manager. He joined AIL in 2007 when told about the career path, which eventually led him to his current position as State General Agent in Iowa. His other reasons for joining American Income Life were the financial rewards and the resources provided for Representatives. Eric feels the same resources are still available with the Company for new Representatives and says "AIL has the systems and support to allow anyone to meet their career goals. If you have the passion and desire to succeed, then nothing will stop you from achieving your goals." Eric noticed American Income Life was a different kind of Company as soon as he started his career. "I have always been in a position where I've had the ability to help others. But sometimes our personal lives can take a U-turn. I'd always have to choose either my job, or not providing for my family. But at AIL, I didn't have to choose."
