Dickinson County Courthouse

The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office is a law enforcement agency that protects lives and property, maintains peace and order, and reduces crime through education, prevention and proactive police services. It employs a staff of more than 20 full-time sworn officers and offers public safety services in over 365 square miles of land and water in Dickinson County, Iowa. The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office supports the Crime Stoppers program, which is affiliated with the National Crime Stoppers Organization and provides opportunities for citizens to report illegal activities to volunteers of the program. Located in Spirit Lake, Iowa, the office also coordinates with the Office of Emergency Management.
