Located north of Marshalltown in Marshall County, the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown is a private animal shelter that opened its doors in 1948. Our facility takes in stray and unwanted animals in Marshall County and attempts to find as many as possible new, loving homes. We are governed by a board of directors consisting of nine residents of Marshall County. 150-200 domestic animals cross our threshold each month in need of shelter and care.
