Davenport City Hall

City Hall is a part of the City of Davenport in Iowa. The City of Davenport manages economic development, finance and information technology departments. The city s fire department offers emergency medical services, as well as responds to hazardous material incidents, floods and service calls. It manages a parks and recreation department that cares for more than 3000 acres of natural areas and provides mowing services for over 2, 000 acres weekly. The City of Davenport also operates a police department that handles nearly 140,000 service calls annually and offers criminal investigation and crime prevention services. The city manages the Davenport Public Library, which provides access to a variety of books, newspapers, periodicals and magazines.
