High on the bluff of the Mississippi River overlooking Black Hawk Spring and the Mississippi River, the Crapo Park Log Cabin offers a glimpse of the simpler life of early settlers in Iowa. Located in beautiful Crapo Park in the south east corner of Burlington, Iowa, the cabin has been open to the public since 1971. Originally built in 1909, the replica cabin was used as a meeting place for the Hawkeye Natives Association. The Cabin is open to the public 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday & Sunday from May thru October. There is no admission fee for the Crapo Park Log Cabin.
