Located in Waterloo, Iowa, Allen Hospital Laboratory Services, a division of Allen Hospital, operates two laboratories that include Allen Hospital Laboratory and United Medical Park Laboratory. Its Allen Hospital Laboratory is a full-service clinical laboratory that offers 24-hour inpatient and outpatient services. The laboratory is accredited by College of American Pathologists, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act and Medicare. Allen Hospital Laboratory Services United Medical Park Laboratory is a limited-service laboratory that serves as an outpatient drawing facility with limited tests available for urine pregnancy, basic metabolic panel, strep screen, wet prep and fecal occult blood. It also offers courier and home draw phlebotomy services for homebound patients. The division s operator, Allen Hospital is a part of the Iowa Health System.
