Clinton Public Works Department

Clinton Public Works Department is one of the departments operated by the government of the city of Clinton in Iowa. The department maintains the public utilities and facilities in the city through several divisions, including engineering, street and water pollution divisions. Its engineering division is responsible for overall coordination of city s public improvement contracts for street paving, asphalt overlays, storm and sanitary sewers, parking lots, sidewalks, demolitions and sidewalk inspections. It also performs survey and inspection duties for specific contracts that provide engineering support to other city departments. The department s street division focuses on the maintenance, repair, and snow and ice control on streets and alleys. Its street division is also responsible for installing and repairing street signs, ditch cleaning, and paint striping and markings.
