The Central Iowa Center for Independent Living (CICIL) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1990 in Des Moines, Iowa, dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to take control of their lives. Through a variety of programs, including peer support, transition and employment services, and benefits planning, CICIL fosters knowledge and independence within the community. In addition to advocating for individual rights and providing referrals, CICIL offers independent living skills training and works closely with community partners to enhance the lives of those it serves.
