Blackhawk Engineering, founded in 1974, began with the design and build of fixtures, and tooling for a variety of customers in the industrial and agricultural markets. Over the years the company diversified into machining small service parts orders for its customers. In 1984, the company became a machining source for production parts. It specializes in machining of complex, tight tolerance production parts. Blackhawk Engineering is ISO 9002-certified, and offers a variety of products, including differential case, midframe, rear housing, steering arms, range box, planetary carrier, water distribution housing, transmission case, steering valve housings and pump housing. The company s engineering production division offers concurrent prototype and production design services, and offers assistance with material selection and procurement.
