Improved breakfast!! Comfortable bed and nice staff. This is my go-to hotel in Ames. Love the Filling Station next door -gas, goodies, restaurant, liquor- has a lot and fun variety.

Location is perfect - near ISU, restaurants, and shopping. Beds are great on one side but next to the light (middle sides), the beds appear to be more sunken and springy, not as comfortable....

Nothing like the hotel employee blasting her Mariachi music over her phone in the breakfast area at 6:30 on a Sunday morning. For crying out loud...get some ear buds. Too early for that....

My experience with the front desk was anything but ideal. After being called yesterday to verify the date I was checking in. She was rude, short and refuse to find a way so I wouldn't pay twice...
