Bacon Creek Park, on the east side of Sioux City, has a 3-mile trail around a small lake where visitors can fish or rent paddle boats and canoes. Other facilities include: picnic areas, playground and fitness equipment, and a nature study.

This nearly 3 mile walk around the lake is really beautiful. Moderate hills and dog friendly with adjacent dog park. Highly recommended.
