The credit union was founded in 1935 as the Oscar Mayer Credit Union and was originally located inside of the Rockingham Road plant. The Rockingham plant office had 600' of space, and only offered Savings, Loans, and Christmas ClubThe Kirby Kangaroo Club was developed. It is an existing club for kids up to age 12.
