Young Audiences of Indian
Young Audiences Arts for Learning (YA), founded in 1952, is the nation's oldest and largest arts in education network, dedicated to inspiring young people and enhancing their learning experiences through the arts. Serving approximately 5 million children and youth annually, YA advocates for the importance of diverse art forms, including music, media arts, storytelling, and sound engineering, as essential elements of a well-rounded education and mental health for all students.
With a commitment to addressing achievement gaps, YA is actively involved in initiatives such as the Educational Advancement through STEM Engagement (EASE) project and works collaboratively with various organizations to support arts-rich learning environments. The network continues to champion arts education and is set to celebrate National Young Audiences Arts for Learning Week in April 2025, raising awareness and support for arts in education nationwide.
