The Initial Dental Visit: An adult and Child's initial visit is an information gathering event. We collect health and Dental information by questioning, examining, x-rays, digital testing, digital imaging and Impressions. These results will be reviewed with the patient and parents of minors. From this plan for treatment will be presented. Some dental issues require completion in phases or stages before final stable health is accomplished. Payment arrangements are made and appointments for treatment made. In some cases the firs t visit is of an emergency, pain management nature. In that case, some of the above events will be modified or bypassed. These visits are not a completed New Patient of record exam and the missing information will be collected at another visit. Your Child's initial visit is an important event for us. It sets the tone for future dental visits and could shape a person's oral health for life. Ultimately, a lifetime of good oral health habits will result.
