Mud Creek Conservancy Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, education, and recreation of the natural environment in Indianapolis, Indiana. With a focus on maintaining Sargent Road Nature Park and developing new public spaces like Blue Heron Nature Preserve, the Conservancy works to protect the 900 acres of at-risk forests in the Mud Creek Valley. Funded entirely through donations, Mud Creek Conservancy aims to hire its first Executive Director and expand its volunteer-driven initiatives.
