Uptown Kitchen

History

Jonathan Lutz, owner of Uptown Dining Group, Uptown Kitchen and The Mark Dine and Tap, grew up working and dreaming in the kitchen. His mother, a gourmet cook, taught Jonathan her secrets when he was seven years old. Since he was 10, he's been planning his own restaurant. A native Chicagoan, Jonathan designed his first restaurant, Uptown Kitchen, to have a funky, urban atmosphere similar to those in Chicago or San Francisco, some of his favorite eating cities in the world. His second restaurant, The Mark, is a gourmet gastropub that takes comfort foods to a much higher level. Both restaurants offer fresh, all-natural, high quality foods for those looking for a taste of sophistication in their dining experience.
