United Way of Putnam County
Mental Health America of Putnam County (MHAoPC) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1952 and is an affiliate of Mental Health America, the largest mental health association in the United States. Dedicated to promoting community-wide mental health and improving the quality of life for residents impacted by mental illness, MHAoPC offers advocacy, education, collaboration, support services, and prevention activities to erase the stigma of mental illness and provide mental health education throughout Putnam County.
MHAoPC's programs and activities are made possible through memberships, direct contributions, United Way allocations, private gifts, fundraisers, and the generous donation of time by MHAoPC volunteers. They act as a resource for individuals seeking information and provide programs to educate the community, prevent and combat mental illness, and promote mental wellness.
