Tippecanoe Country Club

Bordered by Lake Shafer, Tippecanoe Country Club has served as one of White County's oldest and most treasured attractions. Formed in 1920, it preceded the development of both lakes and dams. In 1922 the first club house was constructed. TCC has since been updated and expanded several times. The most important change the golf course was in 1961 when Indianapolis architect, Pete Dye, helped install greens and tees to bring the course up to 18 holes.Tippecanoe Country Club is open to the public. We invite everyone to come and share the wonderful atmosphere of our golf course. The clubhouse features a fully stocked proshop, bar and full service restaurant overlooking Lake Shafer. We serve a wide variety of food and beverages. For larger parties our facility is a great place for outings, tournaments, charitable fund-raisers, corporate ourtings, etc. Be sure to check out the Upcoming Events sections which will have club activities listed for each month. If we have an event listed on the day you would like to play the course tee times may still be open. Please call the pro shop at 574-583-9977 for availablity.Today, the beautiful 18 hole, par 72 course is a challenge to all golfers. Its scenic 6, 850 yards are meticulously groomed and is considered one of the finest in the state. The course opens as soon as weather permits in the spring, usually mid-March and remains open until after Thanksgiving.Jim Ousley is the PGA Golf Professional Tippecanoe Country Club and offers a full service Pro Shop throughout the summer. Dave Ireland, the Greens Superintendent, maintains the grounds with an extensive in-house crew. They keep the grounds neatly trimmed and beautiful which almost hides the difficulty of the course.Daily Twilight available.
