The Roxy 5 was opened in 2012. Following the corporate closing of Peru's previous chain-owned theater, community leaders came together to found the Roxy 5. Awarded the Golden Shovel by the then mayor, Jim R. Walker, The Roxy Theater stood as a shining light among local businesses in tough economic times. Open now for 10+ years, the Roxy 5 always puts the customer & community first. The Roxy 5 is also available for group bookings, parties and events. Please contact us for more info. Doors open a half hour before the first show. Doors and concessions close 45 minutes hour after the start of the last show of the evening.

The theater has very cramped seating that offers little to no leg room. The camera system in the front upper part of the theater that monitors you while watching a movie is creepy.

Great theatre and prices.. however very upset there's no closed captioning access for Hearing Impaired people... so much for understanding a movie.

Great place, they have a very wide variety of movies at a time. They have great snacks and their is lots of space in the rooms and the chairs are very comfortable.
