Swanson Center

Founded in 1969, the Swanson Center offers services for a range of emotional, behavioral and interpersonal problems. The center offers treatment for several issues, including depression, anxiety, anger, grief, sexual behavior and relationship problems. It has a staff of employees that include psychiatrists, social workers, practice nurses, physician s assistants, counselors, registered and licensed vocational nurses, mental health and retardation professionals and paraprofessionals. The Swanson Center offers counseling, outpatient mental health, emergency and medication somatic services. The center also offers intermediate care facilities for mental retardation. It provides case management, respite, and in-home and family support services. The center is located in La Porte, Ind.
