Dr. Amanda Born grew up in Michigan, but moved to Indiana to attend Purdue University where she received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. She then returned to Michigan to study medicine and public health at Wayne State University in Detroit; where she stayed to complete her OB/GYN residency at the Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Born moved to Indiana and joined SVMG Women's Health Alliance in 2013. She currently serves as Medical Director of Obstetrics for St. Vincent Carmel Hospital. Dr. Born is passionate about providing safe and compassionate obstetrical care to all women regardless of background.
