Pike High School, affiliated with the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It is a public school and has an enrollment of more than 2,600 students. Its curriculum offers a variety of subjects, including English, mathematics, world history, foreign language, science, social studies, computer technology, and health and physical education. The New Augusta Public Academy-South promotes the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of students. It is an elementary institution that serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The academy s staff includes administrators, classroom teachers, speech pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, special education teachers and assistants and media specialists. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, English, reading, writing, spelling and social studies. The New Augusta Public Academy-South also provides extracurricular sessions in art and music and offers computer and health and physical education programs.
