Each piece of furniture from Smith Brothers of Berne is given individual attention by the company s craftsmen. The frames are kiln-dried hardwood maple, which eliminates warping and extends the product s life under home humidity. Exclusive coil spring suspension with elevated front support edge offers better sitting as well as adds life to the piece. Each seat is individually supported and floated over the frame. All back and seat cushions are polyester-wrapped, which eliminates the covers from slipping around the foam core. The wrapping also adds an extra measure of plushness for seating comfort. Smith Brothers of Berne was established as Adams Manufacturing in 1926.
