West Lafayette Junior Senior High School is a coeducational institution offering classes from grades nine through 12. It comprises various departments, including, art, English, math, science, social studies and world languages. The school offers various sports activities, such as basketball, football, soccer, tennis and lacrosse, gymnastics, swimming and diving. It operates various clubs and organizations, including pep, happy hands, science, theater arts and visual arts clubs, a student council and the National Honor Society. The school offers a wide range of interschool activities, such as academic superbowls, spell bowls, cheerleading, dance and debate. It publishes a newspaper, known as Scarlette and a yearbook, known as Trident that features sections on activities, academics, clubs and athletics and photographs. The school houses a sports shop that offers T-shirts, hats, mouse pads, cups with lids and a wide range of sports accessories, such as helmets and seat cushions.
