Rice's Quality Farm Meats Inc

Rice's Quality Farm Meats Inc was founded by my father, Jim Rice, in 1974. He left a sales position at Elly Lilly's to buy the business and move back to his hometown. Shortly after buying the business he made the decision to become a state inspected facility and we have been operating in that capacity ever since. Tim Rice is the current president of Rice's Quality Farm Meats Inc I have grown up in the business. After a bachelors degree at Wabash College I went to work for Perdue Foods. I worked for Perdue for 9 years before coming back to the family business. Since coming back I have gotten involved with Indiana Meat Packers and Processors Association. I am curretly on the board of directors and a past president. I am also a member of the National Association of Meat Packers and Processors. Our Business We are a small family owned business. We currently have 9 employees including myself and mother. All employees take great pride in their work. Our name and reputation go out the door with every package.
